The date has been set for the 2nd Annual King and Queen of Prussia
- August 13th-

Your formal invitation from this years King John & Queen Cate awaits your response.
(aka post to comments or sign up at the box)

On August 13th, at 10:00AM in the spirit of the CrossFit Games, your CrossFit KoP Coaches will host a tournament for all non-coaching members of the gym. Athletes will compete in three WODs and when all the dust has settled, the top man and woman will be crowned the King and Queen of Prussia. In addition to bragging rights for the year, the winners will have their names engraved on the trophy that is proudly displayed in the main lobby and their picture featured on the wall. We encourage you to participate and take this opportunity to have your friends and family come and watch you compete.

The WODs will be carefully designed so that athletes of all levels can participate in the competition. Each workout will consist of fundamental movements that every member of the gym will be able to perform. Scaling is acceptable so please do not be intimidated; however if you choose to scale the WODs, you will be ineligible for winning the competition.

My response is a weak "maybe". That's Summer League Finals for Ultimate, so I can only make this if I have a late schedule for that.

Good luck everyone else!

I know I don't have a shot at being crowned King of Prussia, so I'd like to advocate for some additional categories for those of us who need to scale quite a bit.

For instance, I'm confident I'd be competitive for the title of Court Jester of Prussia ...

This was a super fun competition last year--my only regret in becoming a coach is that I cannot compete again this year! You should definitely consider competing even if you scale.
