just watched the Mikko video...his deadlift day was 5x5 at 473 lbs. and bodyweight of 176 lbs. WILD.
one word, BEAST!
I love the part when he says he's now using the hook grip and last year at the games he didn't...WOW!
How do you watch that and not think he will win again. It is insane. I am just in awe of people like him, Speal, Kalipa....
Insane. Mikko saying that he gets a PR every time would frighten me if I were any of those guys out there.
I forget where I saw it but Speal was getting interviewed and he said that Mikko came up next to him on the run and said something like, I see you are strong and not winded, very impressive and then went back to following him. lol.
That guy is a machine!! And so nonchalant about it. Just "everything's better"
Jas, I definitely read that imagining a Finnish accent. ha. on another note, I thought his power clean stance was pretty narrow. But hey, if it works for him...
