That's great news! Can old men with pesky shoulders and hamstrings play?
Can't wait to see the Sectional next year at KoP! Cindy and I miss the age cutoff for the Masters by about 3 months, so looks like training for Masters Regional competition for 2011 starts real soon! I wonder if you have to bring your own Depends...
Cind, I wonder if you need to be 50 at the Regionals or the Games. If it is 50 at the Games, I, in all seriousness, think you should both try out. It would be fun. We would totally go to support you.
That serious may be the case so stay tuned to that board.
if that's the case, I better start saving up to go to OH to see you Masters master the Masters division. Although I'm feeling like we'll be there anyway to cheer Aims on...
For anyone who is thinking about competing in sectionals...I strongly advise that you do! If you would like to talk to Jason or I about it, we are open for discussions. Remember registration is the 21st of December. Spectators should register as well. Even though the event is being held at our box it doesn't guarantee you a spectator spot. So make sure to keep you eyes on the 2010 Games page for details. I added the link to the side bar of the blog (I haven't found the widget for it yet). After registration, in the new year we will be adding an extra class specifically for those competing in Sectionals.

Congrats on hosting the sectionals Aimee! I will be happy to help out in any way I can. This is HUGE!
Cind, will you guys be 50 in May? Go to the Master's division. Would be AWESOME.
If I can deduct the time I take for my rest periods, I am certain that I will be competitive

Jas, unfortunately Jeff and I turn 50 in June and July so we'll just miss the May date. 2011 here we come!

Jason , if that's the case that you have to be 50 only at the time of the games, it will kill my holiday eating plans. Handstand pushups, here I come!
I know that is how some Olympic Sports work.
