In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. This workout was one of Mike's favorites and he'd named it "Body Armor". From there on it was referred to as "Murph" in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is. 

 Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. 

 Rx for the full WOD will require the weight vest (10# ladies and 20# gentlemen). 

 "Murph" 
For time: 
1 mile Run 
100 Pull-ups 
200 Push-ups 
300 Squats 
1 mile Run 
 (10#/20# vest) 

 An appropriate scale for this WOD would be ("1/2 Murph"): 
800M Run 
50 Pull-ups 
100 Push-ups

800 Meter Run. 

 Partner "Murph" is also an option: 
Two athletes complete the work together one person working at a time except on the runs.

A suicide bomber killed seven CIA officers and one Jordanian officer at a remote base in southeastern Afghanistan on December 30, 2009 after posing as a potential informant reporting on Al Qaeda. Seven new stars will be etched onto the memorial wall at the CIA where every star represents grieving friends, family and colleagues dedicated to fight against the enemy, forever in their name. Killed in the attack were CIA officers Jennifer Lynne Matthews, 45; Scott Michael Roberson, 39; Harold E. Brown Jr., 37; Darren LaBonte, 35; Elizabeth Hanson, 30; and security contractors Jeremy Jason Wise, 35, and Dane Clark Paresi, 46.

King and Queen of Prussia 2019



SIGN UP TODAY!

On June 22nd, at 9:00AM in the spirit of the CrossFit Games, your CrossFit KoP Coaches will host our annual competition for all non-coaching members of the gym - The King and Queen of Prussia. Athletes will compete in three or four WODs and when all the dust has settled, the top man and woman will be crowned the King and Queen of Prussia. In addition to bragging rights for the year, the winners will have their names engraved on a trophy that is proudly be displayed in the main lobby and their picture featured on the wall.

We encourage you to participate and take this opportunity to have your friends and family come and watch you compete. The WODs will be carefully designed so that athletes of all levels can participate in the competition. Each workout will consist of fundamental movements that every member of the gym will be able to perform. Scaling is acceptable so please do not be intimidated; however if you choose to scale the WODs, you will be ineligible for winning the competition.
