That is just spicy tuna wrapped with cucumber. I have found that most sushi places will make any of their rolls with cucumber with rice. Sometimes they charge a little extra, but not much.
Kit, The only thing that pops into mind is "COFFEE". If stayin awake for a long class is what you gotta do then I would take the hit from the caffien rather than stick with the soda. I'll look around and see if there is anything in the all natural catagory to help you out.
Kit, you could make some green iced tea if you can bottle it up. It is about as healthy as you are going to get in that department. Lots of antioxidants. You can make it as strong as you want. It takes a little getting used to without sugar, but it is the only way I take it. I use loose organic leaves. You can add guarana powder or extract to jack it up several notches, but you need to know how much you are adding. It is very high in caffeine.
Oh, and diet soda is bad news. The artificial sugar still has glycemic effects and it will make you crave carbs.
Kit-On artificial sweeteners...etc, Diet Soda will... Stimulate your appetite Increase carbohydrate cravings Stimulate fat storage and weight gain Unfortunately, most public health agencies and nutritionists in the United States still recommend these toxic artificial sweeteners as an acceptable alternative to sugar. Get it out of your daily consumption!!! and the soy cheesy poofs!
Aimee, We should do a "Crossfit KOP No Sugar Cookbook". Everyone should give you the recipes for some of their creations. JZ's stuff looks great. I am not very creative when it comes to "Healthy Cooking" and would like to try and make some of the stuff you have pics of. They look great.9

Those look really good, what are they?
That looks very good!!!!
Great idea, I had sushi yesterday, but not a roll - sashimi and then I ate the top off the pieces of sushi and left the rice!
Will any sushi place do that substitution ? That's great!

Evan, Aimee, and Tim (since you were there and had some good things to say about it): Gimme the word on soda. Especially diet soda.
I've fallen in love with diet coke and coke zero in the last 3 months. It keeps me awake in our long long drawn out classes.
Also, any word on the 5 Hour energy drinks.
