Boot Camp- day #2...#monkeybars

Handstand Skills:
(take 10 minutes to work on one of the following handstand skills)
Push-up, Walk, Kip, Strict, Wall up, Wall Walk.

AMRAP in 15 Minutes:
20 Unbroken Double Unders
10 Kettlbell Swings (55/75#)
5 Handstand Push-ups
*If the athlete cannot complete 20 Unbroken Double Unders, choose a number that is challenging but manageable. If the athlete trips they must start back at 1...

Community Notes:
All weekend classes will be held in the Annex (110 C DeKalb).  Athletes are welcome to attend CrossFit Harmony on Saturday at 9:00AM for a free CrossFit Class. Open gym this month will be held on 5/18.  Always make sure to see the calendar on the side bar for the scheduled events at CFKoP.

Pablo 5 Rounds 35/SB

Pablo returned today after 4 months off, so that was the first big accomplishment. Then he committed to do two strung DU each round since he had never done more than one. But then easily got two right away, so every round he increased his goal by one. Ending with a new pr of 5 strung double unders.

Pam 4 rounds
Pam couldn't seem to get ANY DU in warm up and the most she ever strung was 6. She committed to 5 strung each round. It took a little effort but she was able to get it down and even did 11 one round setting a new strung PR. AND she did 3 RX HSPU for the first time!

Gavin 5 rounds
Gavin set a goal of getting 5 DU without stopping jumping (even if he did SU in between) after 5 minutes we had to change over to just 5 DU. However I think both Gavin and myself notice progress in his understanding of what he needed to do to get the timing down with DU. My prediction is Gavin will just get it one day and be awesome at DU.

Nice work tonight gang! Sticking around after a very shoulder exhausting workout for some stretching and mobility is a smart idea. You will notice a HUGE differnce in your recovery time and decreased soreness.

A lot of buzz in the gym again. I think there was a competition between the WODers and Bootcampers to see who was going to workout more intensely. Nice job all around!!
