Front Squat/Back Squat (45/65#)
8 mats of barbell walking lunges between sets
For example: 10 front squats, 10 back squats, walking lunges with barbell, 9 front squats, 9 back squats, walking lunges with barbell, etc...
The WOD ends with one final set of lunges.

This Saturday, February 5th - CrossFit Apex will be hosting the Disposable Heroes WOD at 10am benefitting The Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org. A few athletes from our gym are headed there so wish them luck!

I'm planning in going to apex...who else is going??
As of right now, we will be having the 6:00AM class. However, we are under a Winter Ice Warning until 4:00PM tomorrow afternoon.
If we get the anticipated 0.75" of ice tonight, the roads may not be safe to drive. We will make the determination at 5:00AM tomorrow morning.
If the morning class is canceled, Nikki will post to comments saying that it is canceled. Please check the blog before heading out tomorrow morning.

Super Bowl Reminder......
If you have not paid for your squares, please do so before Saturday.
We have 19 squares left. Soooo, I need more people to join in the fun. For the cost of one square ($5), you have the chance to win $400 and it is all LUCK. You do not have to know football at all.
If you are interested, you can go to the website below and pick your squares or you can just bring money to the box and I will sign you up myself.
For those unfamilar, we basically have a grid of 10x10 squares. You put your name in one and after all are assigned, we will randomly assign numbers to those squares. If your square matches the last digits in the score at any quarter, you win! If you are only watching the Super Bowl for the commercials, you have something else to look out for now.

I need to revise my excitement for the Maltz Challenge. I forgot I am doing something a tad important the next day- LIKE GETTING MARRIED!! If I weren't away, I'd still do it so maybe I will do it at the first open gym after the Challenge.

wow. that's all I have to say. you guys fought a very tough battle both physically and mentally. When co-workers ask you why you're hobbling around tomorrow, send them our way.
If you were in the 430pm class, and know your time and weight for this WOD, please post to the blog! I am sorry for failing you and didn't get to record the scores in time! But hey, was a pleasure to coach you, so I think I was just over excited.

Tim, I was 17:35 Rx.
14:57 RX weight but I'd give myself a DC for not getting great depth on all lunges.
And yes, Plentus was an animal using 95#. Whenever it looks easy, I always know it's the opposite.
I did my first Rx workout last night...though I give myself a DC cause I suck at lunges.
I believe my time was 22:38.
22& change....45/non full ROM lunges- i wouldn't even give my lunges a dc.
Lunges...what a weird word! Decieving WOD... kicked my hiney(for realz)!
