To support the fund set up by CrossFit Pittsburgh to help defray his
medical costs (Zach has no health insurance), CrossFit King of Prussia
is holding a benefit WOD on August 18, 2012. Everyone is welcome, with a
suggested donation of $25 made to the Z-Fund East Coast. To make a donation, Click here. Donations will also be accepted (cash only) at CrossFit King of Prussia
on the day of the benefit. 100% of the donations will go directly to
the Zach Miller fund. If you are a member of CFKoP you can use this as one of your regular classes.
Details:
* There will be both Rx and scaled options.
* All competitors will have a time cap of 10 minutes.
* Heats will run every 15 minutes and will begin at 9am. Sign up for
heats is first come, first served. Box will be open at 8am for sign up;

* Suggested that all competitors wear something unusual. Zach was known

intimidated. Come out and meet some of our friends in the local

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming out today. It means so much to me that we came together as a community to help one of our own. We raised over 1200 at this point, and money is still trickling in. Thank you to the volunteers, the athletes, the judges, Ryan for his awesome photos, and Aimee and Jason for opening up the gym for this event. You're all awesome.
xoxo
Oh! One more thing! thank you to the anonymous donor for putting out the cash prizes, and for the athletes who donated it right back into the fund. Big, big love.
