Some terminology:
Squat clean aka Full Clean aka Clean = start from the floor, catch in a full squat.
Hang clean = start from the hang position (above or below the knees), catch in the full squat position.
Power clean = start from the floor, catch in a quarter or half squat position aka the power position.
Hang power clean = start from the hang position above or below the knees, catch in the quarter or half squat.
"Hang" describes where you start.
"Power" describes where you catch.

Now that I'm at an intermediate level I switched to a 1x5 system. After 4 months of that I came back to Starting Strength.
WOW. Something hormonal is going on. When I wake up in the morning it's like I'm 18 again. This happens the day after workout on recovery morning. I'm not old at 33 but this hasn't happened in years. Has anyone had this happened to them?

I assume you are referring to the hormonal effects of the program, and the subsequent effects on your tallywhacker upon arising from sleep.
Everyone who has a tallywhacker has had this happen to them.
It's the only reason Zach trains, and certainly the only reason his wife is still with him.

if anyone has any gently used sneakers and/or workout clothes they want to donate to my track team at school, please see me. i am guilty of buying things and wearing them once or twice to find out i really don't like it, but i feel bad tossing it. this way you don't have to feel bad because you are giving it to kids that need these items! (all sizes, male or female) thanks for your help!
I have alot of extra t-shirts that they can have that might help.

Well I tried to keep the faith and do a WOD in the hotel this evening. No dumbells, but no problem, I'll go out and do some Tabata sprints and 100 pushups & situps.
Pulled my left hamstring AGAIN on the the very last sprint. I felt great, so I really stretched it out.....a little too much. I think it was more of a bad cramp and a pull rather than a tear, but it is rather tight and sore at the moment.
The good news is that I came in and did my 100 push ups and sit ups.
Hopefully, I can bring this thing back faster than the last time, but I think my Carl Lewis days are behind me. It sucks getting old!
