Question about future Endurance classes....
Depending on the interest and what equipment you have, I'd like to expand the Endurance WODS just a little bit, and match up a few to the main endurance website so we can expand the ultimate goal of fitness being our sport. What is the interest on such things as a group cycle ride? Do you have your own road bike. Many do, and like to ride, but just need that extra kick of doing it with a group of a few riders. 10, 20 miles right on our trail over the river can easily be done in an hour or less, but the benefits of this are great.
Although the anabolic returns are huge, CrossFit Endurance is not just about putting one foot in front of the other, and there are different domains I'd like to hit with more athletes if you are wiling to try, including time trials, and interval workouts in different locations around our area.
Coach Tim P
Biking is out for me as I cannot ride a bike. But I am up for running/swimming workouts at different locations.
TT, trail runs, speed drills, etc
@ Coach TP - totally down with throwing a leg over my MB and hitting the trails . . . . I'm also down for whatever else you can throw out at an endurance class. . . . in a nutshell, count me down as a "yes" for whatever.
You know that I'm down for the bike rides.
I'd be interested in expanding the endurance wods to include biking or swimming, especially in the summer during triathlon season.
Yes, you heard right.
Pork Butter.
You're welcome.
Wow, Pork Butter sounds delicious.
Also, I'd be up for the occasional bike ride.
Biking and Swimming would be great for me!
I'd love to get back on my bike, it was pre-Chloe the last time I was out for a ride! I might have to dust it off!
Wish I had a road bike, I'd love that!
I'm up for cycling, albeit for me it will not be on a road bike but rather a mountain bike that I bought in eighth grade, if that's acceptable.
Swimming would be fun too, though I'm certain my form needs some work.
Kerry, if you're out there anywhere, are you still thinking about organizing a swimming clinic?
