Take 15 minutes to practice your Power Snatch


CrossFit Games Open 11.1
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
30 Double-unders
15 Power snatches

The Power snatch loads are as follows:
Men up to 54 years: 75lbs
Women up to 54 years: 55lbs
Masters Men 55+: 65lbs
Masters Women 55+: 45lbs

Over the next few months, we will be programming some old CrossFit Sectional workouts so that you can prepare both mentally and physically for the 2013 CrossFit WorldWide Open Sectional.  If you have done these workouts in the past, you will get a chance to see how you compare.  If you have not done them, you will experience a great workout and see how you compare to some older scores.  The Open Sectionals are for absolutely everyone, regardless of experience or skill level.  It is a chance to see where you stack up to nearly 75,000 people world-wide.  It is an amazing experience and for many, it is the eye-opener that answers why we do this.  If you have doubts, please talk to people in the gym that have done it in the past and get their opinion.  If you do not do it, you will wish that you had.  We look forward to a great 2013 Open season.

  3. We entered a painted baby bump contest with a radio station. We can win a year's worth of diapers if we get the most votes by Halloween. Ours is called "Our little Monster" and it's green. I've also posted a pic of it on facebook and the link is there too.

    To vote, you just go to the website and log in. You can use your facebook account to log in or you can create an account with the radio station. Then you go through the gallery until you find our pic and then click the vote button below it. You can vote 50 times per day. So, just click the vote button a ton of times and it will automatically stop you when you get to 50, but make sure you go back and do it again each day between now and Halloween.   8. Thanks to the 5:30 for making this "new girl"'s first wod back in a few months super awesome. I will be around a little more consistently until the end of November than FULL time December 1! I miss you all. Oh. I can't lift my arms above my head.
