Great news!  Our new cow is due to be delivered to the box on 8-22, and we are now into our second cow for this delivery, 7 spots still left, so sign up!    The spreadsheet for sign up is located here.

    Way to kill this one, people. Nicely done pushing through and stringing--and several of you for taking dual overhand grip and working those paws.

    Cashout was death by pullups for 10 minutes, strict if you had em, and a bunch had em.

  5. Is a hook grip acceptable for deadlifts, or will that be too tough on your hands at higher weights?

  6. Drew, it is not required on a deadlift, but I hook grip out of habit on the bar! I find it helpful in deadlifts too.

  7. @Drew: Hook grip is acceptable for deads, and probably necessary if you're going super heavy with a dual overhand (conventional) grip. At weights like this, I reco trying to hold on without the hook though to build grip strength. Totally up to you.
