  1. Ok Crossfit KoPers, posting this again since i posted it late last time.

    5 ton 5 K
    Sun,Septmeber 12
    Columbia, MD (2.5 hr drive)

Participants will engage in a workout that entails a total of 5 Kilomiters of distance running and 5 tons of lifting & (or) throwing exercises. Specific workout will be a suprise (for now).

    There will be Men's Rx'd and Women's Rx'd Divisions, as-well-as a Men's Scaled Division and a Women's Scaled Division.

    DIVISION "A"
The Men's Rx'd Division will be working with loads equal to "Rx'd Benchmark Girls", so If you can do most of the Girl WOD as Rx'd, you can finish this race.

    DIVISION "B"
The Women's Rx'd Divison and the Men's Scaled Division* will be working with loads approx. 55% of Rx'd Benchmark loads.

    DIVISION "C"
The Women's Scaled Division* will be handling loads Approx. 40% or less than the Rx'd Benchmark loads

*Scaling athletes may elect to use further scale to loads lighter than assigned by their division category. We want this event to be as fun and inclusive as possible!

SO far Myself and Maura are in (and Maura has volunteered to drive! :-) WHO's in???

  2. On Saturday September 11th, Mike Fab and I signed up to do the McGuire Mud Run. It's 6.2 miles with 17 obstacles, lots of mud!! I started a team on the website www.mcguiremudrun.org under the team name of CrossfitKOP. We need 5 for the team. Join us!!! It's not very expensive either.

  5. Hey Steph, Would love to (and always looking for an excuse to head to DC to see my college friends) but I have a fundraiser for the MS Ride the night before (and possibly golf that day as well).
