ReplyDeleteThe new box is about a mile or so from my rowing club, Upper Merion Boat Club. They have about 100 members and several high school rowing teams train there. CrossFit and the sport of rowing are a natural fit for each other. I found CrossFit and CrossFit KOP by surfing my rowing web sites. Rowers use the Concept 2 almost exclusively as their primary training tool because it measures performance so accurately, so that is the common thread.
I am sure that I will be able to find some recruits there this spring when the rowing season starts. For those of you who do not have a sport specialization, then you might want to check out Upper Merion Boat Club. They have a couple of great coaches there to teach beginners. It is a wonderful life sport.
