On the minute:
Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 25#/45# Dumbbell Push Press on the minute.
The goal is to complete 100 total DB Push Press.
*At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many DB Push Press as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep Push Press and so on until you reach 100 total DB PP.

Welcome back Chip and Pat (from traveling!) nice work on the burpees and push presses early in the morning guys. Weights recorded are what you ended on...some did heavier weights for some of the earlier rounds.

I have to be honest here...we coaches learn equally as much from our clients. I read Schell's quote the other day and something hit me. I realized that I can get up at 3:20AM to catch a flight I need to for work but I groan at getting up 20 minutes earlier each day to get a row in before work. Schell's comment that there is only hard work made me realize that accomplishing your goals should not be easy...if they were easy, you would not enjoy the process. Setting a goal should be hard but doable...I am not magically going to wake up 20 pounds less...I need to work at it and more than that, I need to work HARD at it. That requires sacrifice and sometimes doing the things that suck. Thank you Schell for re-instilling that belief in my mind. I had quite the date with the rower at 5:40AM.

Way to stick with the push presses, gang. Loved the grit and the drive to finish on these...people really pushed themselves with heavier weights...and then pretty much everyone took up the challenge for TABATA situps, because you're all awesomesauce.
