Tosh's technique looked more like a push press to get it overhead rather than a jerk. Does it matter as long as you get it overhead and locked out? I checked out Sage on the main CrossFit exercise page to see what the clean & jerk technique is supposed to look like, and she makes that jerk look easy.
I see what Tosh is doing now. He's doing a Push Jerk while Sage was doing a Split Jerk.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking today may be more of a technique day rather than a benchmark day for me, but we will see how it goes.
i am going to try to start with a push press until i get tired and then move to a split jerk. we will see. 135 is heavy.
